Proper Exercise and Eating Will Keep You Fit, Even as You Age
You probably know by now that that your metabolism slows with age. Studies have shown that the average woman gains 1½ pounds a year during her adult life-enough to pack on 40+ pounds by her 50s, if she doesn’t combat the inevitable battle of hormones, muscle loss, and stress that conspires to slow her fat-burning engine. But the good news is that gaining weight in your midlife does not have to be a given for you, woman or man. You can change your own destination by making a few basic changes such as the following:
- Eat More Fiber
- Eat More Organic Food
- Always Include Protein In Your Food
- Get More Vitamin D
- Drink Coffee or Tea
- Exercise a Minimum of 3 Days Per Week
- Eat “Enough” Food (i.e. Cutting calories too much can slow down your metabolism)
